Poster Printing in Nigeria: Sizes, Prices and Best Uses

Posters are one of the fastest ways to make an announcement visible. They work for events, church programmes, product promotions, school notices, campaigns, launches and in-store advertising.

Waaprint prints full-colour posters for businesses and individuals across Nigeria. Posters start from ₦15,000 for 50 A3 copies, with nationwide delivery and office pickup available in Ibadan.

Poster sizes available at Waaprint

Waaprint prints posters in four standard sizes for indoor display:

A4: 8.27 × 11.69 inches
A3: 11.69 × 16.54 inches
A2: 16.54 × 23.39 inches
A1: 23.39 × 33.11 inches

The right choice depends on where the poster will be seen, how much information it needs to carry and how far away people will be when they read it.

Which poster size should I choose?

A4 posters

A4 is a compact poster size for counter displays, reception areas, office notices, shop promotions and small event announcements. It is easy to place where people are already close enough to read the details.

A4 posters are ideal for:

Price lists and service menus
Reception or counter notices
Small shop promotions
Church or school announcements
In-store information displays

A4 posters start from 50 copies.

A3 posters

A3 is a practical poster size for notice boards, office walls, shops, schools, churches, reception areas and event promotion. It is large enough to carry a bold headline, image, date, venue and contact details without taking over an entire wall.

A3 posters are ideal for:

Event announcements
Church programmes
Restaurant and retail promotions
School notices
Price lists and service menus
Small campaign posters

A3 posters start from 50 copies.

A2 posters

A2 gives your message more visual impact. It works well when you want a stronger display in shops, event venues, lobbies, campuses and public indoor spaces.

Use A2 posters for:

Concerts and major events
Product launches
Election or awareness campaigns
Exhibition displays
Large in-store promotions
Directional or information posters

A2 posters start from 200 copies.

A1 posters

A1 is the largest standard poster size available on the Waaprint poster page. It is best for a big visual statement in large indoor spaces where people need to notice the message from farther away.

A1 posters are suitable for:

Conferences and exhibitions
Large event promotions
Mall and retail displays
Campaign visuals
Stage-area notices
High-impact indoor advertising

A1 posters start from 200 copies.

Poster paper and finishing

Waaprint posters are printed in full colour on 115gsm coated paper. This gives a clean, professional result with strong colour reproduction for graphics, photos and text.

Choose the finishing that suits your design:

Matte: A smooth non-shiny look. Best for a refined, readable design and areas with bright lighting.
Glossy: A shiny finish that makes colours and photographs look more vibrant. Best for colourful promotional artwork and image-led campaigns.

Posters are printed single-sided and are intended for indoor use.

Posters versus flyers, banners and backdrops

The right print product depends on the job.

Choose a poster for an indoor wall display or campaign message.
Choose a flyer or handbill when people need to take the information away with them.
Choose a flex banner for outdoor use, weather resistance or a long vertical display.
Choose an event backdrop for a large branded event-stage setup.

If you are not sure which product is best for your campaign, send the intended size, location and quantity to Waaprint for a recommendation.

What should a good poster include?

People often see a poster quickly, so the main message should be obvious in seconds. Use a clear visual hierarchy:

A bold headline or event name
The key offer, date or announcement
A strong image, product photo or graphic
Venue, date and time where relevant
Contact details, QR code or call to action
Your business name or logo

Avoid putting every detail in very small text. Keep the most important information large, clear and readable from the expected viewing distance.
